Andrew

Tour Guide

Hailing from a small farm in Scotland, Andrew is one-half Scottish, fifty percent Canadian, one-sixteenth Indian and, recently, two-thirds of a fifth Catalan. He is terrible at arithmetic but excellent with names and faces. He is passionate about art, history and local Catalan culture. At 17, Andrew left the farm and took a one-way flight to New York to be a cowboy for a couple of years. He has also studied in the UK and Canada and, as a result, has two degrees in fine arts, specializing in performance and multi-media. After living blissfully for almost twenty years in North America, Andrew was quite oblivious to the intoxicating charms of Barcelona and Catalonia. He arrived here seven years ago on a one-penny flight and immediately surrendered his heart and soul to his enchantress, Barcelona, a city which is, and forever will be, his home. With his strong arts background and time spent as a cowboy, circus performer and magician, Andrew guarantees to always have something surprising up his sleeve for you.
